Girls Only Football Sessions at the Football Fun Factory

February has been nothing short of incredible, with over 20,000 children taking part in our programmes. That’s 20,000 smiles, thousands of unforgettable moments, and an endless supply of football fun!
Thinking back to when our founder, James Cutting, delivered that very first session in Red Lodge in 2017, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. Now, to have 20,000 children involved in just one month is truly mind-blowing! This growth is a testament to the passion and dedication that has driven our team since we launched as a franchise in 2019.
February also saw the return of our Football Fun Camps – and what an amazing start! From Cornwall to Scotland, our camps were buzzing with energy, excitement, and, of course, plenty of football fun.
I’ll never forget delivering my first Football Fun Camp as a franchisee. Seeing all the inflatables set up in the sports hall was a sight to behold! (And yes, I may have had a quick go on the dartboard and dived around the inflatable goal before the children arrived – who could resist?)
If you’ve never seen one of our camps in action, you’re missing out on a football utopia for 5-12-year-olds! Whether a child has played before or is brand new to the game, they’ll have the time of their life. Many children can feel hesitant about a full day of football if they lack experience or confidence, but at the Football Fun Factory, we welcome everyone. Our Head Coaches take great pride in ensuring that every single child is included, engaged, and most importantly having fun!
I was lucky enough to attend one of our Football Fun Camps in Cambridge during the February half-term, where over 40 children were running around, laughing, and enjoying an action-packed day. The variety of activities, inflatables, and skill-based challenges kept them fully engaged. But what stood out most to me was the fantastic environment – kids cheering each other on, making new friends, and building confidence through play.
This is what makes our Football Fun Camps so special. All while having an absolute blast of a time, the children were developing social skills, teamwork, and self-confidence, positive life skills as well which is what sport is all about.
I just wish they were available when I was a little boy because I know how much I would have loved attending!
