Mega Moments of 2024! By Luke Chadwick

When I was a little boy one of the highlights of the Christmas period was watching Top of the Pops to find out what the Christmas number 1 would be. I’m certainly showing my age now but in this blog I’m reliving my past and doing our very own FFF Top of the Pops as I countdown my top 5 moments of what has been a quite incredible year for the Football Fun Factory!
 
Going straight in at number 5 is going to be our trip to Turkey back in March as we jumped on a plane to soak up some sun as we trained the TUI football coaching team on how to deliver football sessions the FFF way. It was a brilliant four days working with brilliant football coaches and wonderful people where we were made to feel so welcome. The training was expertly delivered by super Jonny Martin and the coaches were so receptive to new ideas. We had a wonderful time but did nearly miss our connecting flight which saw James, Jonny, Oli, and I sprinting through Istanbul airport to just make our connecting flight back to Stansted just in time!

 
At number four we have new additions joining the Head Office team, this year we have had three new starters as the business has continued to grow. One of them needs little introduction as Kiefer was already a bonafide FFF legend having previously been a Head Coach and Lead Head Coach and was well known to all before becoming our Franchise Operations manager joining us at head office. We have then had Ben Kelk come onboard as Franchise Launch Specialist, and Sam Carrington as Football Operations Manager. They’ve all been absolute superstars and supported the business motor forward!
 
In at number three I’ve gone for our team trip over to Spain in May for a change of scenery and a few days working in the sun! James and Jonny treated myself, Daz, Oli, and Adam to a few days away capturing content in sunnier climes and strategizing for the rest of the year and beyond. It was such a precious time having the opportunity to reconnect as a group both on a professional and personal level after what had been a crazy busy first half of the year. The timing couldn’t have been better as we came back refreshed and rejuvenated to attack the rest of the year!
 
And at number 2 I’ve gone for all the new superstar Head coaches that have joined our team in 2024, we have had over 40 passionate football coaches come onboard and start their journey as proud business owners and franchisees at the Football Fun Factory. I’m so proud of the team we continue to build, and working with like-minded individuals who have so much passion for having a positive impact in their local communities through football is so rewarding. It’s certainly been a special year bringing fantastic people into our team and I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings.
 
And finally, my number 1 for 2024 has to be our Football Fun Factory Franchise Conference back in July. It was a special, special day as we welcomed so many of the team together at Sherwood Forest Center Parcs. It really was a pinch-me moment seeing these superstars come together and seeing and hearing the energy and enthusiasm they all have for the FFF. Our Head Coaches are the lifeblood of the organisation and to have so many of them in the same room made me feel so proud to be part of this team!
 
So that’s the top 5 for 2024, and to list them and think about how many highlights haven’t made the list makes me feel so happy and grateful for the year that we have had. But most excitingly it still feels like we’re only just getting started and we have so much more we can do to continue seeing the blue and yellow of the FFF grow far and wide! Can’t wait to see what 2025 brings on what makes the top of the charts next year. Thank you for reading pop fans!!
