A huge milestone, 1oo Franchisees – By Luke Chadwick

When our founder James Cutting began the journey of the Football Fun Factory some 7 years ago there was no thought of it becoming a franchise organisation, it was just James doing what he loved coaching children’s football in the villages in and around his home with an idea of having a positive impact on the children and families in his local community and earning a living doing something he was hugely passionate about.

After achieving great success doing so, he quickly realised that this was something he wanted to scale and franchising was the way to do this. After speaking to his friend and former colleague Jonny Martin in a coffee shop in Newmarket about the grand plan of seeing tens of thousands of children enjoying the beautiful game, the franchise journey began with Jonny becoming the co-founder of the business.

What the guys have achieved since then has been nothing short of phenomenal and today’s announcement of the Football Fun Factory reaching 100 Head Coaches really does blow my mind! 100 Head Coaches delivering Football Fun Factory experiences all across the UK and Ireland…………….WOW!

From humble beginnings with four Head Coaches of James, Jonny, Kiel, and me starting franchises in our local areas, meeting daily at coffee shops around Cambridge learning the processes to grow our businesses to now a huge team of wonderful people working together to put smiles on children’s faces!

The work has been tireless from our inspirational co-founders, dedicated head office team, and most importantly of all our superstar Head Coaches out on the ground running the programmes. And to get to this point so early in our journey truly is something very, very special!

A massive thanks must also go to so many people who have supported us in our journey so far, everyone who has offered advice, every like and follow on our social media channels, every positive review, every parent who has signed their child up, and of course every one of the children that have attended our sessions it truly does mean so much.

The most exciting thing of all is that this is just the start of the journey and there is still so much more to achieve in our quest to become the world’s leading children’s football coaching organisation. We want to see so many more children enjoying our programmes with an ethos that will never change, providing memories that will last a lifetime and putting life skills before football skills in an inclusive environment.

As I said at the start, it is a huge milestone but just the tip of the iceberg. Time to get started on the next 100 superstars!
