Earlier this month we hosted our latest onboarding day at FFF HQ. Our onboarding day is something we have five times a year where new head coaches go through face-to-face training before launching their franchise some 7 weeks later. These really are fantastic days full of excitement from both our brand new head coaches and head office team. The day is made up of interactive learnings on the culture and ethos of our organisation, delivery training, marketing and social media planning and loads and loads of content creation!
I am absolutely delighted to introduce the latest members of our team and buzzing to take this opportunity to tell you a little more about the awesome 8!
Mark who will be launching his programmes in Haverhill and Halstead not too far away from Football Fun Factory HQ is a brilliant coach with a huge amount of experience. He has worked within development sessions at professional clubs within the area for a number of years as well a number of different coaching roles. Going through the discovery phase with Mark what struck me the most is how much he cares about children having a positive experience playing the game. A real student of coaching who has an ethos that very much aligns to the FFF.
Chris will be starting a new community in Northern Ireland becoming our fourth head coach in the country. This was the first time I met Chris having gone through the discovery phase with our master franchise of Northern Ireland super Kiefer McAlinden. I already knew lots about him as Kiefer has spoken so highly of him the previous couple of months. And it was an absolute pleasure meeting him in person, hearing him talk so passionately about his experience and future aspirations really was inspiring.
Next up is another Chris who is taking the FFF over to Dublin and I genuinely can’t think of a better person for the job! Chris is a huge personality and his passion and drive to build a Football Fun Factory in the city he was born was plain to see from the first moment I met him. The amount of research Chris had done before even joining our first call was incredible and since then he has immersed himself in everything we do. Chris has huge coaching experience including many years coaching in the US where he held roles as a head coach and director of soccer. We are buzzing to have him on board!
Rio will be bringing our unique football experiences to Slough and the kids are in for a treat in his local community! From the moment I met Rio it was obvious to see his passion for coaching and giving children a positive experience playing the game. Going through the discovery phase process with him was fantastic and when he came to visit us for a coaching observation he really blew us away with the delivery of his session. Rio is an excellent young coach who we are so excited to be going on this journey with.
Super-experienced coach Dave will be launching in St.Albans, Harpenden and Hemel Hempstead. Dave coached for many years over in the States leading programmes with incredible participation. Having seen him coach I know the kids and families in his community are going to love him delivering the sessions. Dave has huge passion for his local community and can’t wait to launch his programmes for the children and families in his area. He is a wealth of experience and is an all-around top guy and absolute superstar.
Stefany will be bringing a little samba to Warwick and Leamington Spa becoming our first Brazilian Head Coach, we are absolutely delighted to welcome her to the team not only because she is a fantastic coach but also because it’s been far too long since we had another female coach join our team. Supported by our husband Ricardo we’re buzzing to see them launch their programmes. Stefany has plenty of experience coaching in development centres and is also a handy goalkeeper herself representing Coventry City’s women’s team.
Scotland has another Head Coach with Andy preparing for take off in Aberdeenshire. A real diamond of a bloke who has been coaching within grassroots for a number of years developing huge passion for children’s participation in the game. Has plenty of experience of running his own business with a hugely successful coffee shop in his local community. We’ve seen Scotland really take off over the past 12 months and we’re so excited that Andy has joined our superstar team north of the border.
And last but by no means least we have Kev ready to roll in Chorley and Leyland, Kev is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and shows so much passion in his coaching to see children develop as people as much as footballers. The only slight drawback to Kev is he is a massive Liverpool fan (only joking!!) but other than that he will be the perfect Football Fun Factory Head Coach! Another coach with lots of experience in grassroots coaching and is incredibly well-known in his local area for the wonderful work he does out on the pitch in his community.
So there we have it, the latest members of Team FFF all getting ready to turn their dream of running their own football coaching business into a reality!
