The perfect man for the job! Learn about our Franchise Operations Manager, Kiefer McAlinden

I first met Kiefer several years ago now as a young coach at Cambridge United, he had moved over from Northern Ireland to follow his passion to be a professional football coach. The thing that struck me most about Kiefer was his infectious enthusiasm and huge passion for coaching which are traits he still has today. After progressing through various roles at the club Kiefer decided it was time to make a change and his next stop was the Football Fun Factory and Kiefer has become a massive part of the organisation ever since.

Coming onboard as our fifth Head Coach and building his community in Cambourne and St. Neots he got off to a flying start with fantastic participation in his programmes, and that was no surprise with his ability to engage and inspire children whilst coaching plain for all to see. Then we all hit a massive challenge which was Covid meaning all sessions were stopped, it was during this time that Kiefer was instrumental in working to develop the franchise while we were off the pitch developing the systems and processes to help us grow when we came out of the lockdown period.

When the world returned to normal we were flying and grew to a team of 15 Head Coaches running our programmes in the southeast of England. The next step for Kiefer was to grow the business even further taking on the role of Master Franchisee of Northern Ireland with the plan of growing the FFF all over his home nation and that’s certainly what he has done, with four superstar Head Coaches delivering our programmes throughout the country and more on the horizon. Kiefer oversees them all working with them to develop hugely successful businesses, his leadership qualities have been extraordinary and we’re all excited about further growth in Northern Ireland.

If that wasn’t enough for one man Kiefer then took up a role as one of our Lead head coaches. Our Lead Head Coaches are a group of our top-performing franchisees who work with small groups of our Head Coaches all at different stages of their journey to support and develop their businesses. Kiefer performed this role brilliantly and was a huge help and spoken of so highly by those he was working with whilst still delivering his white performance community.

Fast forward to today and Kiefer has recently become the newest member of our Head Office team as our Franchise Operations Manager and he is certainly the perfect man for the job. In this role he is having a massive impact on the growth of the business and hard work, endeavour, and ideas have already seen many exciting updates to the business. The journey of the FFF has been a story of rapid growth and with the appointment of Kiefer that’s only going to continue the importance of getting people on the right seat on the bus will see him now playing a pivotal part in driving the organisation forward in the coming months and years.
