With the January transfer window in full swing, the Football Fun Factory has been busy at work as we welcome six new signings to team FFF, they are all absolute superstars and I’m buzzing to introduce you to them today. These guys will be launching their programmes in March as six brand new communities will be home to the FFF’s unique football experiences bringing a huge amount of smiles and cheer! This was our first onboarding of the year with our next scheduled for March before three more in July, August, and November where we are expecting to have more Head Coaches than ever before joining our team!
First up is Head Coach Mike who will be launching FFF programmes in football-mad Newcastle, we’ve been waiting patiently for the right man for the job and Mike is most definitely that. Mike has a huge amount of experience in coaching with over 15 years working with children right up to under 16, Mike has also had a fantastic career in the financial sector running his own business. It’s been a pleasure getting to know him through the Discovery Phase and what stands out the most is his passion and drive to give children positive experiences playing football!
Head Coach Ross is preparing for take-off in The Wirral and is set to take our experiences over the river Mersey as our programmes continue to grow in the North West. From the moment I met Ross I knew he would make a great Head Coach with his attitude towards coaching young children being so closely aligned to what the Football Fun Factory is all about. Ross has had a career in teaching PE and will be bringing that experience into his role as a FFF Head Coach and we are so excited to see him fly!
The Stourbridge area of the West Midlands is in for a massive treat as Head Coach Dan will be bringing the Football Fun Factory there come March. Dan has a wonderful personality and is a brilliant coach who blew us away with his coach observation. He quite literally needed dragging off the pitch after as he didn’t want it to end! Hugely well-known in his local community for the wonderful work he does in grassroots coaching. With experience running his own business in the past, we believe Dan has all the ingredients to be a true superstar Head Coach!
Over in Peterborough, we have Head Coach Jamie who has been an absolute pleasure getting to know and working with through the Discovery Phase, the only downside I can think of is he’s a massive Arsenal fan! (Only joking of course!!) Jamie has had a long career in the military and is now looking to use the massive skillset he learnt in his roles as Head Coach. Jamie has followed the journey of the Football Fun Factory and we couldn’t be happier that he will be turning his dream of running his own football coaching business into a reality!
Not far away over in Holbeach is Head Coach Jack who is a brilliant coach and also a very talented player. Jack spent many years as a child in a professional football club Academy and learnt many lessons from these experiences that have shaped him into the coach he is today. Jack has a lot of experience coaching in schools and is now ready to take the next step of his journey into business ownership. In his spare time, Jack represents March Town where he is having a fantastic season!
And last but by no means least is Head Coach Gareth who will be launching slightly further afield down in Torquay! Our team down in the South West of the country continues to grow and we’re sure Gareth will fit right in from the get-go. Gareth has loads of grassroots experience in coaching and put on an outstanding session when he joined us for his coach observation where all the kids were absolutely buzzing! A big Hull City fan Gareth can be found making the long journey up north at least a couple of times a season!
So there you have it, the Super Six January signings for the Football Fun Factory! Please join me in welcoming them to our team as we get the New Year off to a bang!
