As I’m sure you would have seen from our social media content recently, we hosted our Annual Football Fun Factory Franchise Conference a couple of weeks ago. This was only the second year we have held the event and after last year’s inaugural event at Woburn Forest Center Parc which was fantastic but this year we took it to a whole new level as we had the most amazing day this time at Sherwood Forest Center Parcs.
Now days like this don’t just happen and the amount of preparation and hard work that went into it was massive and we started planning close to a year ago. Our biggest goal was to make this year’s conference even more memorable and give all of our Head Coaches the maximum possible benefit from the day and very much like our unique football experiences for children to create memories that last a lifetime.
It’s the one day of the year that our team comes together as one to connect, collaborate, and most importantly of all enjoy spending time together. We are incredibly proud of the team we have and seeing so many of them together in the same room really was a sight to behold. Despite spending time together virtually, many of our Head Coaches have never met face to face.
The day consisted of workshops, delivery training, business updates, and some very special awards. James delivered a business masterclass talking about maximising the Head Coaches impact in their local communities. Darryl and I took the coaches through a workshop about working from home, both sharing our experiences and giving the coaches the opportunity to talk about their own experience with each other and as a group. And Jonny was out on the astro giving tips and tricks to further develop the Head Coaches doing what they do best, engaging and inspiring the next generation.
There was also plenty of opportunity for our team to create some content with the brilliant Oli and Adam who had cameras in hand all day to ensure they went home with thousands of pounds worth of individual promotional material. The organisation and speed of turnaround from Oli, Adam and the content team was mind-blowing as the team had thousands of photos to use before they’d even got in their cars to travel home!
The final part of the day was the awards ceremony, with Matty Foy, Scott Benbow, Kieran Boyd, and Blair Gray receiving the Blue Card Awards handed out by our incredible Lead Head Coaches. And the biggest award of the day of Franchisee Of The Year was won by super Dave Caciedo who has been a shining light and inspiration to all for the amazing impact he has had on his community in Cambridge.
All in all it was quite a day, in fact I would go as far as to say it was a momentous day in the history of the FFF, and a real realisation of how much we have grown and how many brilliant people we have in our team. But certainly, no time to rest, we now have to start planning for next year and make sure it’s even more special!
